Physical Acting/Clowning Classes
Clowning is a valuable tool in an actor’s toolkit, and there’s a reason that actors such as Emma Thompson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Steve Martin have studied these techniques.Through clowning principles, actor can able to explore a level of vulnerability and truth that we often shy away from. In this series of classes, we will utilize a series of exercises to expand your emotional range, discover the beauty of vulnerability onstage, and hone your impulses, setting you up to be an engaged, generous actor and scene partner onstage.

What you can expect: a weekly class filled with individual and group exercises designed to activate a wild sense of curiosity, generosity, and play. Guaranteed laughter and crying… and possibly some screaming.
